Bring your course materials and laptop for this hands-on workshop where you will learn how to map your learning outcomes to your assessments and present these effectively to your students using the syllabus. Join us for the whole workshop or just attend the hours that are most relevant for your needs. Lunch is provided.
- In part 1, from 11 am-12 pm, you will learn how to write effective learning outcomes for your course.
- In part 2, from 12-1 pm, you will learn how to match assessments and assignments to your outcomes.
- In part 3, from 1-2 pm, you will learn how to design your syllabus using the outcomes and assessments you have identified.
