Globalization is a foundational theme of the UTSA 2016 Strategic Plan, and faculty-led study abroad programs are an important way of offering UTSA students an international component within their educational experience. This informative session will cover the process of making a proposal to lead a study abroad program, considerations for designing a program that is appropriate to the discipline and to international study, and the risks and responsibilities of study abroad.

An educator and architect with more than 20 years of international networking experience, Gribou directs the development of UTSA’s international programs, is responsible for space utilization and allocation, provides leadership in the master planning endeavors, oversees the academic compliance activities and represents the Provost in his absence.
