DESCRIPTION:The key to a successful proposal is presenting quality ideas through concise writing. In this session\, we will share tips for writing clearly and responsive to the funders call\, and will assist participants in creating an “elevator pitch” and abstract that will capture the funders attention. Dixson earned a Ph.D. in Communication Studies from the University of Texas\, Austin. She has been leading faculty development initiatives for 8 years and has 20 years of experience teaching practical skills and theory in communication and public speaking.
