DESCRIPTION:Research shows that 50 percent of faculty still use lecture as a primary means of instruction\, particularly in large classes. Effective lecturing can make classes interesting\, engaging\, and active. This workshop presents techniques for gaining and keeping interest\, organizing information for learning\, and actively engaging students with the material.
