The speaker will lead a discussion about the ways that architecture can elevate the quality of public life across scales\, from room to megaregion. The talk will begin with a single sketch and conclude by re-proposing the continental United States. \nPizza will be served while supplies last. \n  \nView the Event FlyerView more information Presented By:Ian Caine\, SMArchSAssistant Professor\, Department of ArchitectureIan Caine is an assistant professor of architecture\, registered architect\, and urban designer. He holds a SMArchS degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He also earned a B.A. in Political Science and M.Arch from Washington University in Saint Louis\, where he received the AIA School Medal & Certificate of Merit upon graduation from the School of Architecture. Caine’s research examines the forms\, processes\, and impacts of suburban and megaregional expansion.
