DESCRIPTION:What should you include in an online lesson? What’s important? What will work online? How much is too much? The presenter will share some tips on how to create scalable online lessons that engage students\, combine lecture and textbook information and do not overwhelm students with too much information. She has taught online Health graduate level courses for over 8 years and hybrid undergraduate courses for four years. Collaborating with the Online Learning team at UTSA has helped her develop her skills in online course and degree development. She currently oversees three online graduate certificates in Health\, Community Nutrition\, and Applied Health Research and is developing coursework for a proposed online M.S. Degree in the department.
