SUMMARY:Blackboard to ASAP Grade Transfer
DESCRIPTION:In this session\, learn how to setup Blackboard Grade Center to communicate with ASAP to transfer Midterm and Final grades. \nRequirements: Must have attend the Gradebook Setup class\, completed the online Grading Scenarios course\, or have basic knowledge of creating columns in the Grade Center. \nBy attending this course\, participants will be able to: \n\nVerify grade center calculations and schema match the syllabus\nAssign a column for grade transfer by setting the column as an external grade.\nCreate ASAPMidterm or ASAPFinal column.\nModify letter grade by adjusting the grading schema.\n\nOffered Wednesday\, December 4\, JPL 2.01.12C\, 1:30 – 2:30 pm \n\nTo register to attend in person\, visit Human Resources Training (Course # CT0888).\nComplete the survey to attend via webinar using Blackboard Collaborate.\n\nRegister to attend in personRegister to attend via webinarView more information Presented By:  Office of Online LearningLaura Sheehy\, M.A.Ed.Instructional Designer and Support LeadLaura Sheehy is an Instructional Designer and Support Lead for the Office of Online Learning at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). Since starting at UTSA in July of 2017\, she has become responsible for Blackboard support for faculty\, staff\, and students. In addition\, since July 2018\, she has been responsible for the planning and delivery all Blackboard training for faculty. Prior to returning to her home state of Texas\, Ms. Sheehy spent over nine years in Arizona with K-20 teachers and students integrating technology into the classroom and\, in that role presented at a variety of state and national conferences. Ms. Sheehy thrives on sharing knowledge and helping others use that knowledge to make educators’ lives easier.
