They will get an overview of this UTSA standardized student response system on how to get started using it in their classroom and in Blackboard. The iClicker 5.0 Cloud Platform is deployed in all general academic classrooms. DESCRIPTION:Flexible Teaching is an approach to course design and delivery that helps students learn and succeed in any mode: face-to-face\, online\, or hybrid. To ease the transition to an online start to the Spring semester\, a panel of faculty will share their lessons learned from Fall 2021 and how they adjusted their course design strategy and teaching practices to focus on improving the student’s learning experience\, enhance communication\, and create empathy with their students. Panel Format: Online via Zoom. The panel will be one hour long. DESCRIPTION:Join Marcela Ramirez and Amy Buechler-Steubing for a Q&A session about the application process for UTSA’S First-Year Student Experience & Faculty Engagement Mini Grant Program. The First-Year Student Experience and Faculty Engagement Mini-Grant Program is designed to increase overall student-faculty engagement outside of the classroom\, enhance first-year students’ sense of connection and belonging to UTSA\, and develop engaging relationships among faculty and students. UTSA faculty may apply for one mini-grant per semester (up to $1000) which will be used to fund a variety of engagement activities.
