SUMMARY:Support for students applying to Fulbright Student Program
DESCRIPTION:The Fulbright Student Program provides opportunities for students to study\, research\, or teach English abroad for 8-12 months. Students of all disciplines are welcome to apply\, and generally start applications in early summer for a September 1st submission. This online workshop will orient faculty on recruiting strategies for Fulbright at UTSA\, in hopes to increase the number applicants in future application cycles. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nTopics covered in the workshop include: \n\nAn overview of Fulbright awards available to undergraduates\, masters\, doctoral students\, and recent graduates.\nA brief history of UTSA’s Fulbright recipients by discipline and country of travel.\nHow and when to identify students to apply to the program.\nAdvising and student workshops offered by the Office of Nationally Competitive Awards.\nHow students in your program might benefit from Fulbright.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis online faculty workshop is offered by the UTSA Office of Nationally Competitive Awards.
