SUMMARY:Getting started with the Medial Lecture Screen Capture
DESCRIPTION:The Medial Lecture Screen Capture software is a UTSA site licensed tool for enhancing teaching and learning. It is available to all of UTSA. Instructors\, faculty\, staff and students need quick and easy ways to capture content and to share with others in their learning environment space. Users will get an overview of the MEDIALecture Screen capture app’s flexibility to record their screen\, their webcam\, their voice or all three on any machine\, then instantly upload to a MEDIAL category in UTSA’s Medial Library. Users will see the options of how to instantly link the media content to their Blackboard course or share it to their website. Laptops will be provided for users in this workshop. \nObjectives: Participants will learn the following from the MEDIALecture – Screen Capture Tool \n\nHow to get and install the Medial Lecture Screen Capture software\nUsing Text Annotation Medial drawing tools during capture process\nCapture With or without Webcam overlay\nHow to add custom images to your title and credit slides within the editor\nHow to use the tool within Blackboard – no need to leave your LMS. It is integrated within UTSA’s Blackboard. Plus learn how to view the video Analytics of your media content (including Student Engagement).\nHow to use the Trim & Chop\, Export feature of Medial.\n\nEasy video editing within Medial allows you to top & tail your videos while also chopping sections out of the timeline\, the remaining parts then stitch back together for you. An easy export button allows you to select a section and save it as a new media asset. \nRegister for this event
