Programming & Services

A clearinghouse for faculty-related information and services, the Faculty Center pulls together opportunities from a number of university offices under one convenient umbrella. Offerings includes a new slate of professional development workshops each semester, allowing faculty to advance their skills and knowledge. Programming will be offered at the Downtown Campus as well as the Faculty Center facility on the Main Campus. Librarians staff the center during business hours for drop-in consultations.

The Facility

Located on the fourth floor of the John Peace Library, Faculty Center rooms can be reserved for faculty meetings and events. Faculty are encouraged to drop-in at any time to take advantage of the casual seating areas—perfect for chats with colleagues or getting work done when away from the office.

Spaces include: 

  • Small Meeting Rooms (seat 6, 9 or 12 people)
  • Conference Room (seats 20) 
  • Digital Studio featuring collaborative tables with laptops (seats 18)

Adjacent to the Faculty Center, the Assembly Room provides a beautiful presentation space for academic events intended to draw large audiences from on- or off-campus. (seats 120, dividable)
