Join us for an engaging conversation that delves into the intersection of digital scholarship in the humanities and data science. This session will explore innovative methods for analyzing and developing digital resources with cultural artifacts, historical texts, and social phenomena using data-driven approaches and humanities inquiry. Participants will discuss project methodologies using digital tools and techniques to enhance transdisciplinary research, uncover new insights, and share their findings in impactful ways. We welcome faculty and students to this workshop to learn about two new digital scholarship initiatives at UTSA: Community-Engaged Digital Scholarship Hub and the Digital Humanities Student Organization. These initiatives are spaces for collaborations with peers, to share ideas, and work together with practical strategies to integrate data science and humanities research. Don’t miss this opportunity to expand your horizons and enhance your scholarship!
