About the Faculty Center

The UTSA Faculty Center serves as a centralized hub for professional development and academic collaboration—supporting all university faculty, including tenured, tenure-track, and non-tenure-track members.

The Facility

Located on the fourth floor of the John Peace Library (JPL), the Faculty Center provides welcoming, faculty-only spaces designed to foster connection, productivity, and innovation.

  • Faculty Center rooms are available to reserve for faculty-led meetings and events.
  • Casual seating areas are available for drop-in use—ideal for informal discussions, solo work time, or a change of environment from your office.

Programming

As a central clearinghouse for faculty resources, the Faculty Center curates programming and services in collaboration with various UTSA offices. Each semester, we offer a rotating schedule of professional development workshops, helping faculty expand their skills, grow their networks, and explore new teaching, research, and service strategies.

The Faculty Center is open Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.

After-Hours Access (Faculty Only – Keypad Code Required)

  • Monday – Thursday, 6 – 8 a.m. and 6 – 10 p.m.
  • Friday, 6 – 8 a.m. and 6 – 9 p.m.
  • Saturday, 9 a.m. – 9 p.m.
  • Sunday, 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.
