Are you looking for ways to enhance your students’ learning experience and help them achieve their course objectives? In this workshop, we’ll show you how to develop assignments that cater to a wide range of learning styles and align with the principles of Universal Design for Learning.
With Canvas, students can submit a variety of file types, including videos, photos, and documents, making it easier for them to engage with course content. So why not join us and learn how to create assignments that support your students’ learning but also streamline your grading process?
We look forward to seeing you there and working together to create meaningful learning experiences for your students.
***Please bring a laptop or tablet to fully engage in the workshop activities***

• Describe the available options for submissions when creating a Canvas assignment.
• Explain why an instructor might choose various assignment settings and options, including moderated and anonymous grading and assignment availability options.
• Create an assignment in Canvas with the desired submission types, settings, and course grade weight.
