This workshop introduces new faculty to the key contractual aspects of managing research partnerships and sponsored projects. Participants will gain an overview of research and sponsored project agreements, including contract types, negotiation processes, contract start-to-finish timelines, key terms and conditions, and institutional considerations that support successful collaborations.
By the end of the workshop, faculty will better understand how to navigate research contracts, manage compliance and operational requirements, and leverage institutional resources to support the development, negotiation, and administration of research agreements.
