Student learning happens when students are actively doing instead of passively listening. A concern many teachers have with the use of active learning approaches (or inquiry learning), however, is one of not having enough time to cover the course material. This talk will introduce instructors to evidence-based active learning techniques that can be used with large classes (defined as > 100 students) while addressing instructor concerns about covering content.

During this session Dr. Milos Savic will be joining us from the University of Oklahoma to share his motivation and ideas for teaching creatively in large classes.
