This academy will run July 18 – August 21 and is taught in a hybrid format with live Zoom sessions on July 18, 1pm – 2pm; July 19, 1pm – 2pm; July 25, 2:30pm – 3:30pm; & July 26, 1pm – 2pm.

The Innovation Academy is an 8-hour online hybrid course designed to introduce faculty to a variety of educational ideas, best practices, and resources. The goal of the Academy is to help enhance and strengthen instructional skills to become more comfortable in teaching in different modalities.

The course is offered completely online in an online hybrid format. Participants will be engaged in 4 live synchronous sessions facilitated by Dr. Jill Fleuriet and the Teaching, Learning and Digital Transformation team. Participants are also expected to work autonomously on the asynchronous course components focused on activities that will help them create content and activities for their own courses.

** The course is limited to 50 seats. Instructors with Teaching Assistant I, Teaching Assistant II, and Graduate Research Assistant appointments do not qualify for enrollment in the Innovation Academy**
