Grading rubrics can simplify grading and shorten the time needed to score student work; clarify criteria, help ensure consistency and fairness in grading, and provide valuable information for students. This 1 hour workshop will outline the process for creating and using rubrics, identify best practices, and demonstrate their creating in Blackboard Learn. Faculty are encouraged to bring an assignment and a laptop for this hands-on experience.
