This interactive session introduces new faculty to the essential tools, resources, and relationships that support a successful research career at UT San Antonio. Participants will explore the value of transdisciplinary collaboration, learn practical approaches for initiating and sustaining research partnerships across departments, and gain insight into successful cross-disciplinary efforts across the institution.
The workshop will also highlight key faculty development resources, including UT San Antonio’s institutional membership in NCFDD, with guidance on accessing mentoring programs, career development tools, and professional support networks.
Attendees will leave with actionable strategies for building meaningful research collaborations, expanding their professional networks, and leveraging institutional resources and research support services to support their long-term research and career success.
