The workshop will provide research funding information from several Institutes at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) including NIAID, National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS), and National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities (NIMHD). The workshop will include information about the NIH grant process, funding opportunities that would be of interest to physician-scientist, as well as early-stage and mid-career basic research investigators.
