The NSF CAREER Award is among the most prestigious awards offered by that agency. Important to appreciate is that, in many important aspects, the CAREER proposal is different from “regular” NSF proposals. In this workshop, two highly experienced ‘veterans’ of the NSF proposal process navigate the ‘do’s and don’ts’ of preparing CAREER proposals, giving insights and examples that will help better understand the necessary elements (some overt, some more subtle) of a successful NSF proposal.
