UTSA Libraries hosts Assistant Professor Ian Caine for his lecture, Architectural Postcards from Space, as part of the popular Pizza + Research series. The speaker will lead a discussion about the ways that architecture can elevate the quality of public life across scales, from room to megaregion. The talk will begin with a single sketch and conclude by re-proposing the continental United States.

Pizza will be served while supplies last.

Ian Caine, SMArchSAssistant Professor, Department of Architecture
Ian Caine is an assistant professor of architecture, registered architect, and urban designer. He holds a SMArchS degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He also earned a B.A. in Political Science and M.Arch from Washington University in Saint Louis, where he received the AIA School Medal & Certificate of Merit upon graduation from the School of Architecture. Caine’s research examines the forms, processes, and impacts of suburban and megaregional expansion.
