This 1/2-day session will be focused on orienting new postdocs to UTSA and providing important professional development for existing postdocs. Some of the discussion topics will include grant proposal development, developing productive research agendas, important soft skills for academics, strength in collaboration and transdisciplinary research, and future professional development opportunities. New postdocs should plan to attend. Existing postdocs are highly encouraged to attend. Faculty mentors of postdocs are invited to attend, space permitting. Lunch will be served.
