This session will focus on pursuing funding from the Department of Education
as well as on pursuing funding for STEM education research from NSF. Other
funders of education research, including the Spencer Foundation, will also be
discussed. We will talk about types of grants, the roles of program officers and how
to approach them, how proposals are reviewed, and what reviewers are looking for.
