Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is an equity-based framework for teaching and learning. Participants will discuss UDL checkpoints, create their own checkpoints, and evaluate their course using their UDL checkpoints. Through this workshop participants will explore and embrace teaching strategies that create a more inclusive environment for their students and give them opportunities for finding and expressing their voices.

By attending this course, participants will be able to:

• Identify (UDL) principles.
• Discuss UDL Safety Check.
• Apply Safety checks to ensure content follows UDL best practices.
