San Antonio is a unique city, serving as a leader in government and civilian healthcare research through organizations like the San Antonio Military Health System (SAMHS), UT Health San Antonio, and The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). These institutions invite you to the eighth annual SAMHS and Universities Research Forum (SURF), a conference that attracts presenters from around the nation to showcase the work of trainees, faculty, staff, and students from multiple disciplines and variety of health institutions from the private and public sectors.

The mission of the SURF conference is to “advance research collaborations among academic, military, and industry partners to improve health outcomes and readiness.” Participants will present and share research, practice, and policy knowledge; earn continuing education credits/units (e.g., CME, CNE, CDE); and connect with scholars and practitioners from the San Antonio Military Health System (SAMHS), academic institutions, and other public, government, and private organizations.
